Exchange 2013 DAG Environment. Install PureMessage as 2 separate instance

Question

We have Exchange 2013 install in a DAG scenario. 
 2 Exchange 2013 Server configured with DAG. 
 
 Is installing PureMessage on both 2 Exchange 2013 Servers as a separate instance a viable approach ?

Unfortunately no. I ran into this issue myself. Per Appendix A: You must have either a local clustered SQL Server instance, or a remote SQL Server instance. 
 What I did is point the PureMessage to my server running Sophos Enterprise Console. PureMessage then sets up a quarantine on the remote server for both Exchange Servers. So far it has been working fine!
