Has anyone had any issues with jwplayer?

Good Morning,

I am trying to get jwplayer going for a user and I cannot seem to get it to play. I've added exceptions and googled this for a couple days now. I just can't seem to get it to play. It keeps giving me an error. I can find the .MP4 in the html and get that to play but the player itself refuses to play. It somehow plays in IE though and Edge but not in Chrome or Firefox

Things I've tried:

Adding this exception with these urls:

  • Hi Conroy - welcome to the UTM Community!

Let's look at the relevant lines from the Web Filtering log when the blocking occurs.

    Cheers - Bob
PS Since this question appears to relate to Web Protection, I'll move it to that forum.

  • jwplayer uses range requests.

Make sure that you are on 9.6 and that you have...   I can't remember the option name, but I think it is in web filtering, advanced, scan streaming media turned off.
