high CPU usage - looking for the Cause

Hi Folks,

after I solved a VPN Problem recently, through changing the VPN Port from 443 to 1137, my CPU is now between 50%-60%.

Do someone know this Behavior?

I attached all intersting Screenshots -> if something is missing, just say it and I'll upload it too.

ps auxf | sort -rn +2 | head -20 (via SSH Putty)

and from this Screenshot I thought it must be Remote Access (SSL) related be, therefore I add the 3 Pages too:

some Idea(s)?

  • Hi Andreas,

    Glad it's fixed.

You might want to check the up2date log and see if there were pattern updates at the time of failure and resolution.

Could have been a bad pattern load.

For future reference there is a process monitor in the support section as well as running atop in root via ssh provides very detailed info :)
