Open port and WAF

Hi,

I have a question regarding the opening a port when one using WAF.

As you know MS Rdgateway uses UDP port 3391 for the remote desktop app 8.0. we did setup a server 2012 R2 RDgateway and we have setup WAF to access the Rdgateway, it is working correctly.

Now I want also to use UDP port 3391. can I just simpaly create a service defenition for UDP 3391 and then create a FW rule that point this new service defenition to the intenal IP of the Rdgateway server? or because we using the WAF to access our RDgateway this wouldn't work?
