QOS for specific host on UTM9

Hi All,

When it comes to QoS, I get very confused about what and where to setup things. I have had a look at a few post, but nothing is setting in.

I think I have an easy one to start with. I have a single host (172.16.0.61). I want to always guarantee this client 20mbps (no matter what else is happening on the network). Specifically this is for the outbound traffic to the WAN (internet connection).

Do I do this in bandwidth pools? I tried here, keep getting an error

The QoS bandwidth pool object may not have an empty selector list attribute.

I cant seem to select anything to add to the traffic selectors section.

Im sure im doing something simple wrong.

  • Hi Neil and welcome to the UTM Community!

You need to make a Traffic Selector like '{172.16.0.61} -> Any -> Internet' and select it in a Bandwidth Pool on the External interface.  Any better luck with that?  If not, show us a picture of whet you tried that didn't work.

    Cheers - Bob
