Smtp daemon not running & Perl runtime error

Since a few months I've had a problem with SMTPd.

Once every one-two hours I get a warning that Smtp daemon not running: 

Smtp daemon not running - restarted

-- 

HA Status          : HA MASTER (node id: 1)

System Uptime      : 44 days 16 hours 1 minute

System Load        : 0.26

System Version     : Sophos UTM 9.205-12

I also have trouble accessing the logs in mail manager and get a Perl runtime error.  

Perl runtime error calling qm::smtp_log: DBI bind_columns: invalid number of arguments: got handle + 0, expected handle + between 1 and -1 Usage: $h->bind_columns(\$var1 [, \$var2, ...]) at /DBI.pm line 2064.


I thought it would be fixed in updates but it is still the same problem even with the latest.

What suggestion do you have that I should do? Is a fresh installation the only option?

    Brohall, I would try three things if you don't have paid support...

    (1) Restore a backup from before this problem started.  If that works, you can decide if you want to reinstall from scratch or just make  the configuration changes needed. 

    (2) Try, as root from the command line (caution, this deletes all of the data used in the graphs in reporting):
    /etc/init.d/postgresql92 rebuild


    (3) Install from ISO and restore your current configuration (caution this deletes all of your logs and graphs).

    Any luck with any of those approaches?

    The Sophos Ltd cencored my post. I love such manufactors.

    BTW: the smtp Sophos Ltd failed smtpd-Software seams to be corrected with Version 9.207-19

    Don´t ask to the chest of my boss. If the Software-Quality of the Sophos UTM will persist on such a level, I dont think we will extend the subscription to any Sophos UTMs.
