Any ideas on what to do with old UTM110/120? Any re-purposing success stories?

Just curious if anyone has had any luck re-purposing old UTM 110/120 hardware for other uses? I attempted to load the home version of Sophos on one of these, however, the network card drivers won't load properly, thereby making it useless. The NICs are recognized during the setup, but afterwards don't load at all. Any advice? Thanks!

  • Hi Steve,

    you can use the old utm 110/120 with a home use license. With the original image you only need to rename the file asg too asg_old.

    login as root
    cd /etc
    mv asg asg_old
    -> reboot
    Ready, now you can import the homeuse license.
