IPv6 (Zustandsloser Server) wie zuordnen?

Hallo an alle,

ich habe gerade mal eine Frage, die sich aus einer Gegebenheit gerade ergeben hat. 

Ich habe meine Präfixe als "Zustandslos" bekannt gemacht, was ja an sich den DHCP umgeht und die IPs von den Clients errechnet werden. Das funktioniert soweit auch alles sehr gut. Nun habe ich allerdings das Problem, dass ich nun die IPs nirgends mehr zuordnen kann.

Also meine hauptsächliche Frage ist hier ob ich sehen kann, welcher Client sich welche Adresse generiert hat, damit ich auch mal aus den Logs halt einen Host finden kann. Momentan müsste ich rumgehen und überall nachschauen welcher Client nun welche IP hat, was irgendwie nicht sinn der Sache wäre. 

Per IPv6 hab ich alle DHCP Leases statisch gemacht und damit halt auch den Rechnernamen auch eine IP zugewiesen. 

Ich kenne es aus dem AD so, dass der DNS automatisch neue IP-Adressen einträgt, wenn die Rechner im AD sind. Wäre irgendwie schön, wenn das in der UTM auch funktionieren würde und die IPv6 Adressen zu den Rechnern eingetragen werden würden. 

Ich habe dann noch probiert den Zustandslosen Server rauszunehmen. Allerdings sehe ich ja dann im DHCPv6 nur die DUID, die ich ja auch wieder keinem Rechner zuordnen kann. Gibt es hier eine praktikable Lösung?

    Hallo René,

    (Sorry, my German-speaking brain isn't creating thoughts at the moment. [:(])

    Is there a reason you don't have your Windows server do DHCPv6 - or is this a home-use situation where the UTM is the only available DHCP server?  Although DNS best practice was written for IPv4, much of the content should be valid for IPv6 if you do have a Windows DHCPv6 service.

    No it's not home use. So i use the DHCP in the UTM and create Host entries in the UTM. That has the main advantage that you can see which computer make traffic because you can see everything in the logs and i have all in one place. The next thing is that the UTM establish the internet connection and get the network prefix and ip from the provider and i publish all the prefixes to the networks that are configured in every VLAN. So it really don't make sense to use the DHCP Server on your AD-Servers if you have all other configuration in the Firewall. 

    The system is working well but where can i see which computer has which IPv6 IP-Adress? Every host can create Temporary adresses so how is it possible to track that for a hast? That you can see which hast has a problem for example?
