Management console shows external IP address

Hello, I have a question. Just set up UTM on my home network. I noticed that the management console shows my external IP address and says to log in to web admin via the external address. Even though I access it via the internal ip and the permissions are set to only allow internal network to access web admin. I would expect the machine to say to login using the local IP. Is this just a bug? Should I be concerned?

Thanks in advance!

  • Mmh never paid any attention to the console after doing an installation. Did you maybe use eth0 as your WAN interface? I would guess you can ignore that message.

The UTM can be accessed over all interface addresses after an installation, from where that is allowed you can control under Management / WebAdmin Settings / Allowed Networks.
