Sophos UTM behind bridged mode IPoE no login

So my ISP uses dynamic IPoE and no login required. When I put my VDSL modem on bridged mode and have my Sophos UTM behind it with an ethernet interface, it doesn't work I get no internet.

Am I doing anything wrong? Is Sophos UTM meant to get internet from the bridged modem?

I'm not familiar with IPoE, Mo. Have you tried PPPOE or PPP instead of Ethernet in the interface definition?

If I use a modem with no login details it works.

I see that you're in Australia, Mo (mods can see posters' IPs). Maybe you could add "in Australia" to your title and get more Aussie eyes on your issue.
