Adjusting the OpenVPN configuration template overwritten with by updates

Dear Community,

one of our customers was facing an issue with DNS resolution when connecting to the company network using the SSL VPN client. For the first ten minutes was is not possible to do any DNS resolution. We solved this by adjusting the route-delay value from 4 to 1 in the openVPN config file.

Now we have to adjust this value centrally on the UTM so that clients will download the correct setting initially.

BUT, with every update this value gets overwritten.

I would like to know whether there is any way to lock this value/template so it doesn't need to be adjusted after every update. I'm also not sure if this should be done at all. So if there is a way to do this, can it savely be done?

    No, it's "/var/confd/res/openvpn/client.ovpn-default"

    By default route-delay is 4. We change it to 1. I just rebooted the UTM after changing it in my lab. The value remained unchanged, so will it just be overwritten with any up2date update?
