Cannot view accounting page [7.305]

I'm unable to view the accounting page on my home firewall. It's running 7.305, based on a clean install of 7.0xx + up2dates.

When I go to Reporting-Network Usage, the daily, weekly, and yearly graphs all load OK, but when I click on Accounting, nothing happens in the browser, except that it eventually pops up asking me if I want to keep waiting or abort.

If I look at the httpd.log, I see an error, only when I click on Accounting:

I've also been having problems with runaway large net_acc files in /tmp, and large postgres WAL logs... I've posted about that at https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/51/t/20337

This is on my PIII-800MHz box.
I had 512MB of RAM, but as of tonight, I've upgraded to 1GB (900MB seen by ASL).

    Barry, does this feel like a problem with the PostgreSQL data base?  Remember that there were many of us with random problems caused by the balky 7.202->7.300 Up2Date, and several people who had problems with the V7.302 ISO of ASL.

    Have you tried Adreas' suggestion for reinitializing?

    Take a look in the System log, PostgreSQL errors often show up there- it does sound like a DB problem.

    The last step of the re-initialization generated the following warnings:

    FWIW, I've wiped and installed the 7.380 beta from ISO... so far, accounting is working.

    I'm still seeing the errors in httpd.log; will post in beta forum.

    Hmm... after less than 24 hours, accounting is no longer working.

    I'll open a thread in the beta forum, but this probably affects 7.305 as well.

    It was pointed out before that my CPU (PIII 800) was probably too slow to process the accounting data quickly enough to display the Network Usage - Accounting page... I've recently rebuilt using an Atom 1.6GHz CPU with HyperThreading (at least 2x faster INT performance, and faster DDR2 RAM)... after a few days of BitTorrent traffic, the page does not load anymore.

    Also, I'm out of memory after trying to look at this page... confd.plx is using 261m VIRT and 204m RES according to 'top', and there's another confd.plx using the same amount. In total, RAM+SWAP is just over 1GB used. Normally it's around 384MB (I don't use any of the proxies except VOIP and SOCKS).
