want to switch from a 320 appliance to software

i have a 320 now with version 8 and 2gigs memory, i have tested version 9 on a box of my own and feel it would be best to run this on it since it has faster processor and 4gb of memory. We are going and use most of the features and see they just keep adding more(which is good).  How can i make my 320 license work on a software box?

    Short answer: This will not work.
    Longer answer: When you buy an Astaro/Sophos you have to decide if you want
    - license model1: You buy an ASG without any user limitation. The only limitation is based on the hardware model you buy. Therefore you are not allowed to change the hardware for example by increasing memory.
    - license model2: You buy a software license limited to a number of users/protected IPs. When doing so you are allowed to install this license on any hardware you want.

    If you want to switch to better hardware (or different license model)  either you contact your reseller or your register for Hardware Upgrade.
