[8.202]Lots of issues

My ASG has been up for over 11 days.
1/. intermittent http proxy performance in full transparent mode - doesn't pass traffic for a while then resumes. I have not searched the logs yet.
2/. swap increasing
3/. strange traffic reports in daily reports
3a) ACC is shown in the daily ASG reports as having used 1.2gb
3b) ACC daily report shows about 60-80mb
3c) the ASG daily network traffic graphs don't show any significant throughput
3d) the ASG daily network security reports are showing traffic from the ACC
3e) the ACC doesn't show the same packets
4/ the Wireless security is not showing all the devices that connect to it

I have disabled any DNAT rules in network security to do with the ACC to see if that stops the reports.

The ACC has a fixed IP address.

    1/. Not using Full Transparent - is this IPv6?
    2/. Seems to be common to everyone.
    3/. Not seeing any of these differences.
    4/. Have you tried rebooting the AP 10 times?

    I've been seeing this one and reported my findings (what little I have found) in this thread: 8.202 Http proxy not running - restarted 8 times in a day

    Seems in my case, rebooting the httpd process allows traffic to flow again for several hours.

    As an aside, it gives me an excuse to get up from my desk every few hours, when I'm working from home, and brew another pot of coffee.[8-)]

    Hi folks,
    I have shut my ACC down for the moment. The daily report for both ASG and ACC are now showing large data downloads from an Amazon site to the ACC, not sure why. The ACC v3 GA has only been released as an ISO not an up2date package.

    See if that fixes some of the other issues.

    Did you set you ACC to act as an up2date cache?  That might explain the Amazon downloads.

    Hi Scott,
    no, it is just a plain ordinary ACC. Not enough ASGs or network connections that woukd warrant the caching.

    This only stated about 2 or 3 days ago.

    Looks like an ACC issue, something to do with the release of ACC v3. My ACC is still running 2.880b

    Turned out my problem was the Portscan security subsystem figuring my PC was a threat to the network. The final clue was when I found a ton of portscan entries in the log related to DNS (port 53).[:S]
