Alicd Restarting every hour

Hi,

2 days ago I upgraded to 6.302. Since then I've been getting this email...

alicd not running - restarted

I'm pretty sure that a license reset will fix this (please correct me if I'm wrong!) but I just wanted to ask if this is maybe a side effect of using the new USB key with the backup file saved to it install method? - sorry I dont know what to call it! it is cool though!

I just wonder becasue I didn't get prompted to install any licence file, so it must just get it from the backup file.

Your thoughts?

    This is what Astaro told me about the error.
    It did fix my problem.

    alicd - License counting daemon - indicates that the license counter isn't counting IP addresses. (minor error that can usually be corrected by resetting the license counter from system>>licensing)

    I had the same problem since Friday when updating the Version 6.303, was gettingthe email notification every hour.

    I took RicardoEspinC's advice and now my system is not sending me any more annoying notifications about alicd.

    Maybe Astaro will fix all boxes in the next update.
