Meshed APs: explain graphic

Hi,

is anybody able to explain this to me:

There is AP1 (wired to my Sophos UTM). All other APs are meshed.

AP1 (the wired one) has NO Mesh Peer Link (shouldn't be possible).

AP3 is meshed to AP2 and to two MACs I am unable to identify (yellow).

AP5 is only meshed to an unknown MAC (yellow).

Or how do I have to read this picture?

Thanks for hints!

  • Hi

First of all, you can identify the MAC addresses from your DHCP server scope list. Second, the mac addresses will be listed in the client list according to the setup you've done. If you see Sophos AP's MAC address over there, that means it meshed with those APs.
