Hitman Pro

Hi,

I am a new member to this community and I am experiencing a problem with Hitman Pro Alert and would appreciate some assistance.

I have recently purchased a copy of VideoPad video editing software. Whilst saving a project to my files the following message appeared, " VideoPad Video Editor 5.20 has been terminated to prevent execution of malicious code". Please check your computer for malware and software updates.

Alongside is a live diog box with the message, "Scan with HitmanPro". clicking on this box creates a message, downloading and it just hangs!

Closing the box and entering Hitman Pro and click Scan Computer then creates a further message "Failed"

Can anyone suggest a cure
