  • I posted in the wrong forum my apologies If an admin could delete that would be appreciated

  • Don't worry Brian, it happens from time to time!

I've had a few tricky installs of Sophos in the past on clients and servers. It's often been down to MSI corruption and the "new" MS tool has fixed this on many occasion.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

I appreciate it's designed for workstation OS and not server, but I would try running it and see if it can "clean" out any Sophos MSI issues.

  • Can you post the entire SAV log it doesn't have the bit of interest.

    Regards,
    Jak
