Unable to export bitlocker keys for CPE recovery

Hi Guys,

We encounter issue with Bitlocker machine which required Bitlocker keys for CPE recovery.

We found the problem machine option to export the keys is grey out compare with othet Bitlocker machines which can be export successfully.

Appreciate if anyone can share their experience troubleshooting similiar case or information on the error. Thanks

Hi there - Is it C/R keys that you can export and not the others?

It is possible to dump/export all the keys from SQL but this may not be what you're looking for?

Hi @MichaelMcLannahan

C/R keys able to generate. However due to windows failure the bitlocker recovery key is required as per link below.

Based on the information relay to console the machine was successfully encrypted but unable to export for recovery due to the export keys was grey out which also happen on other bitlocker machines(randomly selected).

This export option only exisits for C/R machines though, are you trying to find an export for machines that have traditional BitLocker?

Or are you saying that some C/R machines can be exported and some can’t?
