Sophos Mobile Security

Hello Sophos Accessibility Service is sometimes closed by itself. It happens on a regular basis. And I do not allow downloading from unknown sources, but Sophos Mobile says I'm doing it, and there are other bugs in the app, but it's impossible to reach you and I'll find lots of bugs over the years. And sophos security & antivirus quard don't work at all.

I am really sorry that you are facing issues with Sophos Mobile Security, have you tried opening a support ticket regards these issues?

I have previously tried to get help but sophos does not have support for free programs and it is very unfortunate when I find lots of bugs over the years but sophos are not interested in helping or correcting these errors. I find it strange that sophos does not want to try to fix these problems.

Now this happened again and you at sophos do not care about this and I find it very strange that you do not want your program to work well.

2. What is the product version?

Security & Antivirus Guard 8.5.2765

Nokia 8 Android 8.1.0

Because of all the bugs in sophos that you do not fix, I used McAfee for years without bugs, and every time you updated the sophos, I downloaded it but the bugs were left. This problem with web filtering turned off started after i got android 8.1.0 and then I had McAfee and it happened several times then I switched back to sophos with the idea that sophos antivirus guard would protect and stop this problem but it does not .

I also have the same problem on Nokia devices as follows

Nokia 8

Android 8.1.0 Security Patch 1 August 2018 (latest available update)

Sophos Mobile Security 8.5.2765 (23)

Sophos Mobile Control 8.5.3226

Nokia 5.1

Android 8.1.0 Security Patch 1 May 2018 (latest available update)

Sophos Mobile Security 8.5.2765 (23)

Sophos Mobile Control 8.5.3226

I have no other Android 8.1 devices to test but do have another Nokia 8 that I am expecting to have the same issue.

I have many Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4's and a couple of J3's on Android 7 that do not have this issue.

Hi, I have a Nexus 5x too and it has no problem with sophos and it has the same android version as Nokia 8. I think the error is in Nokia 8. But it's really hard for me to reach them so they look on this, but I have tried to reach them too. But even if the error is in Nokia 8, sophos Antivirus & Security Guard will not work. If you would contact Nokia HMD then they might take this seriously.
