Sophos Update Manager failed

Hi,

We have an issue with Sophos Update Manager failing to update.

Log Viewer shows :

Error Event for dispatcher 'DispatcherPrograms-2017-07-19T15-15-49-1' failed to execute.

a log at the SUMTrace shows

2017-07-19 22:16:03 : Cmd-ALL << [E402E][F1DAD925-C973-4e5e-B172-78E97EB60689][F1DAD925-C973-4e5e-B172-78E97EB60689][RECOMMENDED][] Synchronise operation failed when synchronising payload 'F1DAD925-C973-4e5e-B172-78E97EB60689' because a package could not be found. Package: F1DAD925-C973-4e5e-B172-78E97EB60689

Have tried to clean up Workspace, CID, and Working directories to no success

Any idea on how to fix this?

I've looked at the error details further in the SUMTrace log file, and found this error :

2017-07-19 18:11:19 : File copy failed.

2017-07-19 18:11:19 : <WARNING> Sync iteration failed. CurrentResult: 6, Error: File copy failed.

My assumption is that SUM failed to download the files, so i tried manually browsing to d1.sophosupd.com/.../48b8c79884a3273fa29ecea00f9e490ax000.dat

to manually download the file but got "Not Found" error.

Is this expected?

Hello paulus tamba,

please see Sophos Update manager failing ... - looks like the same problem but I don't think it's on your management servers.

how do i check if i have particular product in our subscription? In this case, the error one is F1DAD925-C973-4e5e-B172-78E97EB60689:5:RECOMMENDED.

Just to update, we solve the issue by removing old subscription (10.3 Recommended) and adding 10.7
