SSH/Root access to Sophos email virtual appliance

Is it possible to get root access to the Sophos virtual email appliance? the main driver behind this is that I would like to run manual email tests from the appliance by using telnet to external mail servers.

Any assistance appreciated

Hi David,

Unfortunately, backend of the SEA ( virtual or physical ) is not accessible to customers due to security reasons. You will have to contact sophos support for assistance.
