SEA 4.5.1.0 - time of click vs. long urls

Hi,

since updating to 4.5.1.0 a bunch of mails getting quarantined, which never happened before. Legit mails from Amazon and trusted vendors are affected.

The reason seems to be the modified ToC according to the release notes.

  • Resolved an issue where rewritten Time Of Click links could not be accessed if they were over a certain length. Such emails will now be quarantined. (SEA-813)

Is anyone else struggling with this, can this be changed to the way before?

  • We are also experiencing this problem.  It has quadrupled the number of quarantined mails.

Having checked a few mails it seems that 990 is cumulative for the URLs in an email and not per URL.  One email I checked had 3x URLs, max length 751 which is a lot less than 990!

Sophos please fix this as it's usually a good rule to have enabled
