SUM coexistence with other applications

Hi,

We are looking to install a SUM on a server that already has other applications installed (System Center products).

Can't seem to find anything as to whether this is or isn't a supported scenario.

Cheers,

Dan

  • Hello Dan,

I assume you are talking about an additional SUM. As I'm not Sophos the below is my personal view.
It has no special requirements other than that it must be possible to download the updates via HTTP or UNC, publish them, and to communicate with the management server. If this is the case then it's supported. Supported does not encompass other applications' issues (performance or other) allegedly or actually caused by SUM.
