We implemented Endpoint Protection for our company's desktops and laptops managed via the Enterprise Console. As the Exchange Administrator, I've been tasked with implementing PureMessage on our Exchange 2010 server. We have not deployed EPP to our servers yet. In the PureMessgae Startup Guide and associated documents, the enterprise console and SQL db(s) are discussed, but I'm unclear as to whether PureMessage utilizes the SQLExpress instance and DB installed on our SEC server or creates additional databases? Do I select 'remote' at install time of PureMessage and select the SOPHOS instance on our SEC for the DB connection?
