Fresh Install of EC 5.3 on Windows 2012

We currently have EC 5.1 running on Windows 2003 with 2000 connecteed clients. I would like to do a fresh installation on Window 2012. Any tips

    a fresh installation

    without migrating the database (and therefore any settings)? Keeping to server's identity (in terms of certificates, not necessarily IP and/or name)? Windows endpoints only?
