I wish to upgrade the SEC to the latest 5.4.1 version and would like to ask for your help, please.
In the past I have manually backed up the DB as part of the preparation before the upgrade was initiated. This was achieved via batch files.
I've looked at the upgrade notes but cannot see a reference to a DB backup. Our DB is located on the same server as the SEC (we only manage 40 endpoints, so only need one management server for our needs), and the DB uses the SQL express version available with the 5.2.2 installer.
Do I need to back up the DB before upgrading, or will the installer take care of this for me?
