Application Control suddenly quarantining Windows 10 "Modern"/"Metro" apps

Hi,

They have been added as just part of ongoing monthly updates:
https://www.sophos.com/en-us/threat-center/threat-analyses/controlled-applications.aspx

If you're blocking them by default you must have ticked the option to automatically block new applications added to the category.

E.g. Microsoft Store App - https://www.sophos.com/en-us/threat-center/threat-analyses/controlled-applications/Microsoft%20Store%20App.aspx is in the Download Manager group so to block this, as the data update happened you must have selected to block newly added items for the category Download Manager.

It's just Control, there is no speicifc exploit.  A customer may have requested them for a variety of reasons.

Yes, I have it blocking new applications automatically; I was under the impression that it would prove me lower risk/better protection, but obviously I was misunderstanding the intent of Application Control. I'll move them into the "Authorized" column.
