Remove Computers via Command Line

A member of our team is responsible for decommissioning PCs from our organisation.

To save manually deleting from the various applications including AD, I am intending to write a utility to remove PCs from these.

As such, is there a way to remove a computer from the Enterprise Console via the command line?

Hello Ian,

to begin with - it's unsupported, for the rest please see (e.g.) Remove PC's no longer on network.

Ah....in that case I don't think I'll bother if it's not supported.....I will just include a message to manual remove via the console.

to manual remove
please note that delete from the console just sets a flag (guess it's mentioned in the linked thread) - the computer object and its associated data (unless already deleted by the automatic internal housekeeping) will be "resurrected" if you reuse the name (or rather its significant attributes).
