Failed to read customer file content

I'm receiving the same error on a similar setup.

Operating system: Windows server 2012 R2
Sophos Enterprise Console version: 5.3.1
Sophos update manager version: 1.5.7.50

2016-01-28 11:42:31 : Cmd-ALL << [E4005][Failed to read customer file content.] Decode operation failed with an unexpected error. Details: Failed to read customer file content.

This is a new installation and initially the updates works 100%, then when I change some settings as per "Managed Service Provider guide for a single server" I start receiving these errors.

I think that it stops working after changing my MRinit.conf and running ConfigCID.exe.

The modified content in the mrinit.conf file is:
"MRParentAddress"="IP,FQDN,Hostname"
"ParentRouterAddress"="IP,FQDN,Hostname"

This location of mrinit.conf files that I did this with is:
C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Update Manager\Update Manager\CIDs\S000\SAVSCFXP\
C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Update Manager\Update Manager\CIDs\S000\SAVSCFXP\rms\Program Files\Sophos\Remote Management System\

ConfigCID.exe cmd:
ConfigCID.exe C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Update Manager\Update Manager\CIDs\S000\SAVSCFXP\

I have also tried \\hostname\SophosUpdate\CIDs\S000\SAVSCFXP\
