Enterprise Console issue

Hi,

I am trying to push through Sophos to a Windows server 2012 Standard from the enterprise console and I am getting this error:

Error 00000067 'The MSI has failed', seen after installing, upgrading or updating Endpoint Security and Control

and this: 80070057 The installation could not be started the paramater is incorrect

Could you please assist

    I was about to follow up when I saw your post, congrats.

    Now you shouldn't run the .msis individually - but then you've followed this by running setup.exe again and apparently this sequence fixed it. I have no idea though what the issue could have been. ALsvc.exe's manifest references the VC90 runtime which is usually present and the reference can be resolved in winSxS (if not, there are "private" copies in the Sophos\AutoUpdate directory).
