Enterprise Console Icon Seemingly Stuck on Orange Arrow

Not sure how else to troubleshoot this issue... but on a client that recently received the Protect Computer directive, the icon in the SEC has been stuck on the orange down arrow. 

I have tried restarting the server, restarting the services... those do not work. The client has the Sophos software installed and it seems to be working as desired, but the orange icon will not go away nor will it change the the green icon (as the rest of my clients look (about 60 of them).

Any help with this?

  • If resrating the Sophos Management Service doesn't help, If you delete the computer from SEC, this will actually hide it.

    Then restart the Sophos Agent service on the client to send in a status message.  Does it come back with the same orange arrow?

    Otherwise, I'm sure it can be fixed by toggling the status of one of the columns e.g:
    InstallPending

    InstallInProgress

    in the computersanddeletedcomputers table for that record.

    Check a "working" client.
