enterprise console does not open after R2 update

Hi.

We just update to from sophos 52 to R2 and now enterprise consolw will  not open 

am on server 2008 r2 can start and stop services  

sophos database is on a seprate server  whch is server 2008 r2

    did you already work through the step suggested in article 118513 (it's not as complicated as it looks on the first glance)? Whether or not - simply re-run the installer (make sure you enter the correct account), this shouldn't have any adverse effects but might correct whatever got twisted for whatsoever reason.
