Stop Sophos Endpoint Software Updates

It looks like I have a setting where I'm automatically updating the endpoint software when a newer version arrives. I still want the signature/security updates, but the software udpates need to be ran through our change management process.

What do I need to do to turn this off and set it up like described above?

Hello HMote,
are you talking about a managed installation with an on-premise management and update server? If so the SEC board would be the better place for this thread.
Assuming it's SEC Software subscriptions in Enterprise Console with licenses issued in June 2013 or later should give you some useful information.

That certainly tells me how the different settings perform. Is there a setting to not automatically update and notify instead of a new version?

Hello HMote,
please see the I need to test paragraph in the FAQs article (if you haven't already done so, as it's in the Related Articles list). And note that in another paragraph it says there is no option to unselect automatic upgrades [...] even with Platinum support in place.
