Enterprise Console reporting online machines offline and not up to date

Hi,

Apologies if I post in the wrong place, first time on the forum!

I have a strange issue occuring on my network where 4 computers have suddenly started reporting that they are not up to date.  I've been to each machine and they are definitely up to date so it must just be the communication between server + pc... However, looking at them again this afternoon, they are now reporting as completely offline - rather than just not up to date.

Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas as to what/where I should start investigating?

Thanks in advance!

David

  • Hey,

Very odd situation then hehe.  Always me that encounters something that google doesn't return an exact value for someone else having the same experience as me.

Anyway, on a better note the issue has been resovled!  It could be two things though...

Firstly, I had to upgrade from 5.0 to 5.2.1 to support some new Server 2012 machines so I was hoping this would resolve the issue - had many issues upgrading but I won't go into that now.

Secondly, after the upgrade was complete I re-ran the "Protection" directly from the server to client with same install settings etc... which I assume forced everything into gear without any un-installing required.

Thanks again for all your help on this!  I saw you post a lot on the forums that pointed me in the direction to fix the upgrade problem - thanks for that help too!

    Cheers,

    David
