Migrate SEC from server to another with Database installed on a separate MS SQL server

Question

Hello, 
 This is my first question in this Community, so I hope I am doing it the right way :) 
 I want to migrate SEC from one Windows Server 2018 R2 server to another Windows Server 2016 server. The database itself if not installed on the same SEC server, but on another separate dedicated MS SQL server. 
 I went through the migration guide: https://docs.sophos.com/esg/enterprise-console/5-5/help/en-us/PDF/sec_55_mgeng.pdf , but it only talks about the migration when the database is installed on the same SEC server (to be honest I did not go through the whole PDF, but this is mentioned in the PDF in Assumption section page.5) 
 SEC version is 5.5.0 
 Can someone help me to find a guide for the migration with this situation? or can someone give me a hint on how to deal with the database in this case?

 simply follow the Migration Guide disregarding chapters 7 and 8 that are related to installing the database. [Download the installer and] follow chapter 6.3 in the Advanced Startup Guide . You might have followed this procedure during initial install of SEC.

Hello Jameel, 
 the IP address does in principle not matter, but there are not-so-trivial details . Changing the name is not supported and I'd advise against trying it. You'd anyway have to stop the services on the old server (ideally shut down the server) before connecting the new one to the database. You could then re-use the name (if possible at your site). Please note that it is possible to use aliases (both WINS/NBNS and DNS/FQDN).
