Migration/move: Old server 5.5.0. to new server with 5.5.1

Question

We want to move our current SEC 5.5.0 to a newer server (from W2K12 to W2k16) and are wondering if we should use right a way on the new server the 5.5.1 version. 
 When looking at the documentation, there is only the mention of "same version", but nothing specifying if this is MAJOR same version or Major and Minor same version...

 same version as in same - this is a technical documentation not a legal one [;)]. 
 Seriously, not going into details here the associated database changes and the recommended workflow is migrate to another server - upgrade SEC or v.v. It can be done in one step though (see the small print here and also this thread ).
