Turn Off Endpoint Quarantine?

Is it possible to turn off the endpoint quarantine by policy or is the 'quarantine' statically set to always be on?

Hello InternationalPossumBrotherhood,

on Windows endpoints quarantine is a list of detections which have not (successfully) been dealt with. What exactly do you mean by turn off? That this information is not recorded on the endpoint or that a user isn't alerted?

AV solutions I've used in the past would allow you to turn 'Quarantine' off, meaning disable the functionality. I'm okay with this being built into the solution, without the ability to disable or remove it.

what exactly is turn 'Quarantine' off? Or - what was the function of Quarantine in the past AV solutions?
