Tamper Password

We had problems with the server on which we installed Sophos Enterprise Consolje , so we decided to install Sophos to a new server.
After we reinstall the console we tried to add a workstation to a new server , but it did not work .
It was decided that we must uninstall Sophos from workstations and install on a new server , uninstall dont work because we forgotten Tamper password.
Is there a way to uninstall the Sophos.

Antonio Vlahović.

  • Hello Antonio,

I've moved this post as Enterprise Console seems more appropriate.

    a new server
with the Certification Manager keys preserved or not?
add a workstation to a new server
what did you do? Which steps did you perform to add a workstation? In which way it did not work?
I'm asking because damaged server or not this is a common scenario: Do a fresh install on a new (virtual) hardware and move the endpoints to the new server. It's supposed to work. If you ever have to migrate again (planned or unplanned)

It was decided that we must uninstall - why? Using Protect Computers from the console, or running setup.exe from the CID should work, TP enabled or not.
