Sophos endpoint protection license

when the license expires [apart from the legal implications of using the software after expiration] endpoints no longer receive detection data (and software) updates thus protection will deteriorate. And for cloud managed versions you'll lose access to the console.

if you continue to use the product it'll violate the license agreement - so I see it as an academic question [:)].
You are referring to the Enterprise Console managed ENDPOINT PROTECTION STANDARD? Anyway, static protection data will become outdated, thus new threats won't be detected. The Windows Action Center will start to complain about the outdated AV. Live Protection utilizing HTTP might no longer return results. Only Peripheral Control doesn't rely on updated data - everything else will perhaps continue to work but constantly degrade and thus no longer be reliable.

Are you seriously considering to let the license expire but continue to use the product?
