NetApp onTap 9

hello,

I am running Sophos Enterprise Console 5.4.0 on Windows Server 2012 Standard. We also have in our Environment NetApp DataOnTap 9. I want to add Sophos NetApp plug-in to start scanning our NetApp devices. All the notes I read say Data ONTAP 7-mode or Data ONTAP 8.2. Can someone guide (link me) to any release guide with Data ONTAP 9? Does Data ONTAP 9 work with Sophos Enterprise Console 5.4.0 or are there any issues?

    Hello RomeoMoran,

    first of all, I'm not using NetApp and BTW there's a dedicated Anti-Virus for NetApp forum (although there isn't much activity). Now the only reference I could find is the System Requirements article which does mention ONTAP 9.x in a prominent place.

    As far as SEC is concerned, it's NetApp-agnostic - i.e. the scanner is just another (Windows) endpoint managed like all the rest.

    Much appreciated QC for your response. I have looked at the System Requirements Article, it does mention Data OnTap 9 once, but thru the article it talks only about OnTap 7, and also 8.2. The article doesn't mention anything further OnTap 9 in terms of installed or issues. I have added myself to the Server Protection Community, and will post my questions there. I don't have an issue with my system now I just need further assurance OnTap 9 does work with Sophos Enterprise Console 5.4.0 on Windows Server 2012 Standard before introducing it in my NetApp environment.
