So we are currently trialing Sophos and have found a major issue.
You can very easily disable Sophos by just using msconfig. Uncheck all services, no Sophos.
This is a major issue for us. We have a lot of branches that really do not like IT to begin with due to limiting access to sites and applications. They will find this workaround.
Is there something we are missing? Is there any way to prevent this.
I am aware you can do the same for other AVs, but Kaspersky requires safe mode to do so. Normal boot just rechecks the services immediately.
I hope someone can help, we are liking Sophos quite a bit.
