After moving Enterprise Console to a new server, I need to uninstall the Endpoint Security and Control client so I can re-protect the new server from the new Console. I am not able to uninstall the client. I get the following error in the Sohpos Anti-Virus Uninstall log:
Product: Sophos Anti-Virus -- Error 1721.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: UninstallDriverFiles64Vista, location: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\, command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\NATIVE.EXE" /lhu "C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus\SAVONACCESSDRIV.INF"
I tried following this article: https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/117014.aspx
The files referenced in the error do not exist. I have located these files from the old SophosUpdate file share (luckily I haven't deleted it yet) and replaced them in the specified location. Still not able to uninstall. Please help!
