Sophos Endpoint to Cloud Transition

Hello,

we have a client that wants to make the transition between on-premise endpoint security (SEC) to Endpoint Cloud protection.

i have this list of feature differences:

is there anything else the client needs to know before making this change?

i am afraid this list is not full and there might be some surprise waiting for me..

It is my understanding that there will be feature parity between Sophos Central and the on-premise products over time.

what about the non-existing DLP solution on the cloud?

in what extent ? no endpoint content filtering?

The Sophos Central managed client does't have DLP at this time. I.e. you can't configure a data control policy to say block a file (contents or filename) being sent to a USB device, opened by a browser, etc..

Are you using a Data Control policy from SEC?

Another Question.

the Clients Bandwidth is 30\30 symmetric.

should i expect any problems with the Update Downloading?

No, but depends how many Endpoints he has behind that link.

You can setup a local server update cache to ease bandwidth requirements, it's really easy to setup and manage - https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/122577.aspx
