unexpected product state 2 for product with code ...

Hi,

After the AutoUpdate of the endpoint security was not working and I could not install it new, I uninstalled the endpoint security. Now I am not able to install it again. After start the setup a pop-up opens with the message

There was an unexpected problem ... details: Unexpected product state 2 for the product with code {D929B3B5-56C6-46CC-B3A3-A1A784CBB8E4}

I hope you can help me

Not to forget: we tried to install the AutoUpdate because we figured out it is not working because the PC is already INFECTED

Hello Erich Freimann,

the PC is already INFECTED
with what and what exactly is INFECTED? Whatever corrupted AutoUpdate might have affected other components as well. I'm not a fan of OS reinstalls but in such cases it could be expedient.
