Sophos On-access Inactive

One of my users having Sophos ver 10.3 is not updating and enabled scanning option disabled.

 

From the enterprise console the error is

 

Code : 00000067

Description: Failed to install SAVXP. The MSI has failed.

 

The original error was initially

 

Code: 0000006b

Description: Download of Sophos auto update failed from server.

Code: 0000006a: Installation caught error.

 

What would cause this and how can I resolve it?

    Hello Carolyne Njuguna,

    the 6b likely hasn't lead to the other two, and the 6a isn't very specific so for SAVXP. The MSI has failed please check the latest Sophos Anti-Virus Major Install Log_ddmmyy_hhmmss.txt and the associated Sophos Anti-Virus Major CustomActions Log_. In the Install log search for Return value 3, additional information is in the preceding lines. A more detailed description of this procedure is in Error 00000067 'The MSI has failed' and Troubleshooting using MSI logs.  
    Feel free to post the relevant parts if you need further assistance.
