I'm having a frustrating issue with recovering a laptop from encryption. I'm following the steps covered here https://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/118497.aspx but when I go to right click on the affected client to do encryption recovery the option is not available as, I have set up a new laptop with the same name and installed Sophos anti-virus etc. Is there anyway to get round this or have I shot myself in the foot ?
