I have our Schedules Scan set to ignore *.vdw files which Sophos cannot scan and sends Admin Alerts on, but when the Scheduled Scan kicks off it sends me alerts that it cannot scan these files.
First, I think it's the On-Access Scan that's kicking these alerts off when the Scheduled Scan is happening, but there is no place to tell the On-Access Scan to ignore files types. Second, I can disable the Admin Alerts for the On-Access Scan and I don't get the alerts anymore. This solves the issue, but then I lose all Admin Alerting for issues.
I'm thiking the Scheduled Scan is ignoring the files, but the On-Access Scan is still kicking off the alerts during the Scheduled Scan. Has anyone else run into this with their intallation?
