  • Hi,

Are you in a position to upgrade to SEC 4.7?

    I would suggest that first.

The SAVRes.dll at the server side (e.g. \program files\Enterprise Console\SavProviders\XP\savres.dll ) should have all the same message codes as the client that sends them (\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus \savres.dll) so all the codes can be translated.  But as the client is updated more frequently than the server, maybe the server side dll is missing something.  An upgrade to SEC 4.7 might re-align the 2.

The other thing you could try as a test is to close SEC backup the SEC savres.dll and copy the one from the client to the directory if the client one is newer.  Then open SEC and see if the message is translated.  If not I would still upgrade to SEC 4.7.

    Hope that helps.
