Migration Nightmare

I'm trying to proceed with a migration of enterprise console from 32 5.2 to a new 64 bit 5.2 install and i'm having a MAJOR nightmare with it.

I'm following the migration document up until point 10.3 where i'm supposed to be taking a backup of the new server - it gets so far then fails with the following error:

I've logged a call with sophos support who have sent me another document to work through(article id 116454) but still no joy.

does anyone have any ideas on how to proceed from here?

It would have been easier if i'd set up a brand new server and pushed out 800 installs to all my machines than faff about with this!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated before what hair i have left turns even more grey!!
